Ends with a Bullet - Ends with a Bullet Review

Concise Summary:

Ends with a Bullet is a metalcore style band that is relatively unknown. From this album, I can't see them gaining much recognition. For some of the songs, the mixing is pretty terrible (after every time the bass drum kick hits, it feels like your headphones are trying to implode, and the mix sounds muddy), but that's the least of the band's problems. The clean singing sounds a bit nasally-whiny, and the screaming is pretty sub-par in places. There are some good solos, and a few nice riffs, but overall the songwriting isn't anything special. It almost feels like the band was trying to copy Bullet for my Valentine in places, but really didn't do a good job. The worst part about this album is definitely the lyrics. They are generic, boring, and repetitive. The word to sum up this album (the band's second) would be, Juvenile.

My Rating: 4 out of 10
